Janet has been apart of the most important times and memories in our lives. She has photographed our engagement in Boston, our wedding at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, RI and has done family portraits with our son from his birth on in our home. We were instantly comfortable with Janet from the first day we met her. She always has creative and thoughtful suggestions and works with so much ease and grace. We love all of our photos so much and have them showcased all over our house. Janet has been there for some of our most personal moments and we have loved sharing that with her.  We will continue to work with her for years to come!

Janet was absolutely everything you'd want in a wedding photographer: funny, flattering, fun, and full of energy!  She & her second shooter were just amazing - at the times you wanted to notice them & be with them they were there, and other times we completely forgot about them & they caught some incredible candid shots.  Everything about the setup and attention was amazing - she was organized, well-prepared, and even helped calm me down when my makeup was running late (and therefore the first look shots!).  My husband, overall a bit camera shy, was also incredibly comfortable working with her and felt right at home - which I think is also a testament to Janet's down-to-earth style & generally relaxed way about her.

I was so impressed by Janet's professionalism & overall way of managing what is a very important day with a lot of personalities and groups of people.  Her photos are just unforgettable & I cannot tell you the number of times I go back through them just to see these amazing moments.  I could not recommend her more highly!

I knew when I chose Janet to photograph my wedding that I would get beautiful photos, but I got so much more! Janet advised me with different aspects of planning and scheduling, and was totally available any time I had an idea or a question about how things would go. She also gave me space and let me call the shots when I had a clear idea of what I wanted. She even helped us to realize a vague and harebrained plan for my sunrise trash-the-dress, for which she was not only the photographer but really the creative director.
